Floqer, an AI customer knowledge platform for B2B sales teams, has crossed $1.2 million in annual recurring revenue. Revenue grew roughly tenfold over the past year, the company reports.

The startup plans to open-source the technology behind its autonomous database in early 2027, pending security reviews. Floqer pitches Wednesday on the Startup Battlefield stage at TechCrunch Disrupt 2026.

What does the platform actually do?

Floqer deploys AI agents that research companies, people, and customer interactions across more than 100 third-party data sources. Users describe an ideal customer profile. The agents build lists of matching accounts and contacts from there.

When a verified email or phone number is needed, the system runs a waterfall check across providers until it finds usable data. The platform also monitors the web continuously for job changes, promotions, and funding rounds, then writes those updates into the user's CRM.

According to Floqer, customers have cut prospecting time by as much as 70%.

How did a Chrome extension become a CRM cleanup tool?

Floqer started in 2024 as something else entirely. The original product was "Super Chat," a Chrome extension that logged into a user's ChatGPT account to summarize pages and take notes.

Enterprise customers soon used the extension to clean up their own CRM data. The team noticed. The pivot followed.

"We started with a Chrome extension, which is called 'Super Chat,'" CEO Shivam Mahajan told TechCrunch earlier this month. "Anybody can go and log in with their ChatGPT account and then understand [information] and take notes."

When the team asked those enterprise users why, the answer was blunt. CRM hygiene was mostly manual work. Few teams had a process for it.

"When we spoke with them, they told us that it's super manual for them to clean their CRM data, and there were no established processes around that," Mahajan said. "So that was insightful for us, and then we pivoted from there to build Floqer."

Who is buying this?

Floqer says it counts more than 1,000 customers, including:

  • Perplexity
  • Wise
  • AngelList

The team now numbers eight employees. Investors in the $2 million pre-seed round included Perplexity's F7 Fund, N49P, Tidal Venture Partners, and Perplexity co-founder Denis Yarats.

Mahajan co-founded the company with Zaaheda Islam, whom he met at university. Islam previously held a senior data scientist role at Axis Capital. Mahajan came from Kyndryl, where he worked as a software engineer.

Why open-source the database?

The autonomous customer knowledge database is currently available only to a limited audience, a constraint Mahajan attributes to operational capacity rather than strategy.

"Our autonomous customer knowledge database is only available to a limited audience, mostly due to how much demand our team can actually serve properly," Mahajan said. "But open-sourcing it will help us fix that."

The open-source release responds to enterprise requests for self-hosting, custom modification, and tighter data residency controls. Floqer will run security reviews first because the database already holds sensitive customer information from large companies.

The first post-release offering will determine whether Floqer becomes a vendor of record or an infrastructure layer that other prospecting tools build on, and the company has not yet named a lead customer for the open-source pilot program.

What should sales leaders watch for?

Floqer's go-to-market hinges on one question. Does an early-2027 open-source release expand distribution beyond an eight-person team, or does managed prospecting still win on speed?

The Disrupt pitch will give the first public signal.
